Presentation will include a case study from Catholic Charities on how changes to their New Subscriber Welcome Series emails improved constituent engagement and a presentation from Loyola Presents on how a new enewsletter improved event attendance.
Sara has spent her career in information management first as a healthcare technology consultant and for the last 7 years working with nonprofits. At Catholic Charities, she oversees the operations functions of the Advancement Team. Sara manages all fundraising and communications technology resources, develops and implements processes for collecting and analyzing information related to fundraising and communication activities, and works closely with Director of Advancement and Catholic Charities leadership team to develop marketing strategies for the agency.
Sara is an active member in the New Orleans community. She is a board member of First Grace Community Alliance, a member of Toastmasters clubs, a founding organizer of the Nonprofit Tech Club New Orleans and a supporter of many community organizations.
As Director of Loyola Presents, Flora works with the dean of the college to support the 80+ college events that happen each semester. Flora runs the Loyola Box Office and a student Design Firm. She is also the college webmaster and recently co-led the website's transition from drupal 6 to drupal 7.
In Spring 2018, Flora co-founded the Loyola Student Food Pantry, which is still located in the Loyola Box Office. She also volunteers as a Success Coach for incoming Loyola students. She is a co-founder of the New Orleans Nonprofit Tech Club and received a scholarship from the Nonprofit Technology Network to pursue a nonprofit technology certification.
Flora is a proud New Orleans native who has worked in the performing arts since childhood. She and her husband, Tom, enjoy sharing the arts with their two young children.
