#NPTechClubATX Programs Continue | COVID 19 | Link Update!
March 14, 2020

We hope you are safe and well.
We updated one key link on this morning's email and wanted to share our message again with you!
Timely Mission
The mission of NTEN & NetSquared Nonprofit Tech Club Austin is to help nonprofits find cost-effective tech solutions and techniques to make their work easier, more secure and efficient. That means for the past several years, we have offered educational programs that involve digital solutions to daunting challenges like being unable to hire extra staff (but needing to get the work done anyway), raising donations easily and creatively online, better managing board meetings, volunteers, accounting functions and more. We are #ready.
Enjoy Prior #NPTechClubATX Broadcasts
Please review our main platform and click on prior programs at the bottom of the page. Several were live broadcast and recorded by Capital Factory, and you can watch them 24-7 from any location.
Upcoming Programs are Still "On"
Thanks to Zoom and our club partner NetSquared, our programs can go online if required. Capital Factory - our primary venue this year - has not yet cancelled club programs. If it does however, #NPTechClubATX will opt for online presentations. We have already reserved a Zoom spot for Jennifer Surovy's talk on Monday, April 6, "Leveraging LinkedIn for Your Non-Profit Career and Organization," which begins at 6:30 p.m.
We will notify you if programs are curtailed for a time at Capital Factory, of course, and we will share links to our online broadcast presentations as well. If you are not already a member of our Facebook group page, sign up today! We post a lot of timely information there.
RSVPs for #NPTechClubATX programs are still recommended, as space in person and online are both limited.
Partner Resources for Managing COVID 19
Our partners and professional colleagues have also provided helpful resources and support during this challenging time of COVID 19:
-This past week, TechSoup hosted a webinar now available on YouTube, "Managing the Impact of COVID 19 on Nonprofits." It includes helpful observations and ideas and we urge you to watch it.
-You might also enjoy reading, "Nonprofit Resources for Remote Work During the COVID-19 Outbreak," a new blog post on the TechSoup website.
-National Council on Nonprofits has posted, "Nonprofits and Coronavirus, COVID 19" on its website. It is includes many practical solutions for nonprofits.
-The Nonprofit Times also posted last week, "CDC Foundation has COVID-19 Guidelines for Nonprofits."
Take care and we will be in touch,
#NPTechClubATX Volunteer Team

Give us courage and gaiety and the quiet mind, spare to us our friends, soften to us our enemies."
